Hyundai Revises The Price Of Kona & Ioniq EV [Latest Price]

With the government now waving off excise duties and revising custom duties on EVs, the EV market in Nepal is all set to kindle a spark again. The recently announced financial ordinance has announced 10 percent customs duty on electric cars, jeeps and vans up to 100 kW capacity, 15 percent on vehicles from 100 kW to 200 kW capacity, 30 percent on vehicles with 200 to 300 kW capacity, and 40 percent on vehicles above 300 kW capacity.Hyundai Motor Company, one of the biggest players in the Nepalese EV space, has announced the updated pricing for its Kona fully-electric subcompact SUV and Ioniq EV sedan.
